To Rana Aapa.. with love (from Anu & Inder)

Paakeezaa chaandni se zyaadaa.. chaand se bhi pyaaraa..
Farishton ke maanind.. nuur e rukhsaar tumhaaraa..

Numaayaa rahaa.. nihaayat shireen lehje mein..
Qisso'n aur loriyon saa.. har ek alfaaz tumhaara..

Gunguni dhuup saa.. shafqat ka koi lams liye...
Ghamon ki barf.. pighlaa deti ho.. jaane kaise..

Aangan mein hon.. bikhre tamaam phuul o mehek..
Bahaar le aati ho.. hans ke yun hi.. jaane kaise..

Aa'ed karke tamaam qaaede.. daair e maskan..
Farz o nisbat pe yun.. khud ko nisaar karti ho..

Baandhe rakhti ho.. puure aashiyaan ko.. tum is qadar..
Maa! Kaise tum hum se.. itnaa pyaar karti ho..

Wow Anu and Inder...

Kitna achha laga...superbly written..
I could see Rana Ji thru this poem...could see how she looks, speaks, how she takes care of her people and their worries...and at the same time how perfectly she teaches and maintains her relations...
In love with Rana ji and ofcourse Anu and Inder as always :))

The beauty doesnt lie in the words, but the honest heart felt emotions that is expressed....honesty of words is often reflective of the purity of soul....love the words, which kind of summarizes the entire wave of emotion it evokes...

"Gunguni dhuup saa.. shafqat ka koi lams liye...
Ghamon ki barf.. pighlaa deti ho.. jaane kaise.."...

jaane kaise...........

....waah...khoobsoorat khayaal....waise to dilse nikle jazbaat kabhi alfaaz ke mohtaaj nahiin hote, phir bhi unko achche andaaz mein pesh kiya gaya !!

yun to dil me feelings hona bahut zaruri hai... par unko kisi ko batana sabse mushkil kaam hai. nafrat zahir ho jati hai, nafrat ki wajah nahi... pyar ki wajah zahir ho jati hai par pyar nahi...
par aapke paas dono gun hain... beshumaar pyar karna bhi aur use itni khoobsurati se zahir karna bhi...

ek teacher ke liye sabse bada gift hota hai jab unke students kuch ban ke dikhayein. aapne aapa se sikhi urdu apni is shayari me sanjo kar sabse badi guru dakshina di hai...
