Maano raat ek kamra ho, aur chaand ek diya ho..
Hum hon aur kisi shararti bache ne..
baahar se taala band kiya ho..
Din bhar chaahe duniyaa dhoondaa karein humein..
Raat ko duniyaa mein sirf main aur mere piyaa hon..
Kehne ko dil mein ho bahut kuch magar..
Hothon ne ye kaam aankhon ko diyaa ho ..
Baadlon ka bistar ho taaron ki chaadar ho..
Mohabbat ke lams ne humein phir maasoom kiyaa ho..
Ek gilaas mein neeli jheel utri ho poori ki poori..
Ek ghoont samandar humne bhi pii liyaa ho..
Khaamoshi ka ek ek qatra aaine mein simat aaye ..
Har pal mein ek sadi ko humne jiyaa ho..
